Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How do I become a member, and how much does it cost?
A: Contact the Membership VP for membership information.
Individual memberships - $75
Corporate memberships for up to 5 people - $325

Q: What are my membership fees used for?
A: Membership fees are primarily used for venue/speaker/food reservations for ACCP monthly meetings, ACCP website development/upkeep, ACCP marketing materials, and ACCP membership drive incentive gifts.

Q: Does being a member of the ACCP provide me any product or service discounts?
A: No, at this time, no published discounts are provided for being an ACCP member. However, the ACCP is a great resource for networking with other companies and can provide insight as to possible upcoming promotions for those companies.

Q: Can I bring another colleague/friend/potential member to an upcoming ACCP event?
A: Yes, we would love to meet your guest. Please be sure to communicate your total head count on your electronic invitation of who will be attending the meeting and share their name, company for which they work, along with their current title there. This will help us to confirm attendees and make the meeting as useful as possible to our guests.

Q: How do I find out about meetings and events?
A: We post upcoming events on the website. Also, join our ACCP LinkedIn group for notices and meeting details.

Q: What happens at the monthly meetings?
A: Customer contact professionals meet over lunch to network and hear about relevant topics on customer contact trends, practices and technologies.

Q: How long are the meetings and when do they usually occur?
A: Monthly ACCP meetings usually last between 1 to 2 hours depending upon location and if tours are offered. They usually occur on the 3rd Thursday of every month but can be subject to change based on venue/speaker availability, holidays and other factors that could cause the date to be adjusted.

Q: What if I responded that I could attend an upcoming meeting but have now learned that I or one of my guests will now be unable to attend?
A: Please alert the Technology VP who will adjust meeting head count for meeting planning purposes and to be better stewards of our resources.

Q: How do I find out who else is a member?
A: The best way is to come to a meeting and network with others! For privacy reasons we do not publish the full membership roster online, but once you join you can search by name or company to see who is a member.

Q: I’d like to be a program speaker at one of the upcoming ACCP monthly meetings– how does that work?
A: Contact the Progams VP. The Programs VP can help with a date, location and lunch arrangements if needed.

Q: I’d like to be a board member – what should I do?
A: Reach out to any of the current board members and we can arrange for you to shadow a board member to learn more about roles and responsibilities.
